BLODAN: Advancing Voluntary Blood Donation for a Healthier Nepal
The Blood Donors Association Nepal (BLODAN), established in 1990, is a national federation uniting non-remunerated voluntary blood donors, donor organizations, clubs, and associations. Committed to ensuring the availability of safe and high-quality human blood and blood products, BLODAN actively promotes regular, voluntary, and unpaid blood donation across the country.
Currently, 329 organizations are actively participating with BLODAN in this life-saving mission. To enhance public engagement and awareness, BLODAN also runs digital board programs across key locations, sharing timely messages, donor information, and blood donation appeals.
Through awareness campaigns, donor mobilization, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships, BLODAN continues to work tirelessly towards achieving the goal of 100% voluntary and safe blood donation in Nepal.
